    The Summer Solstice has just passed, marking the ‘official’ beginning of summer.

    Since ancient times, people have associated the seasons with different energies. Summer is associated with excitement, joy, and passion. As the sun gets closer and closer to earth, temperatures rise, the days are long, and there is an abundance of energy everywhere.

    Most plants are in full bloom now.

    The trees are covered in their leaves, and all of life is awake and active, from the hummingbirds and bees during the day, to the frogs and crickets at night. We feel this burst of energy as well. We start to go outside more, participating in activities like hiking, swimming, and camping. We have many social events to attend, like barbecues and picnics, as summer is a joyous and social time of the year.

    In all, we are motivated, happy, and full of life at this time. There is summer energy found in many places, one of them being in the form of certain crystals. If one is wishing to connect to the energies of summer through stones, here are some that are associated with the season.




    Citrine
